Relay Judging What is CTS Relay Judging? It is a method to measure the time between when the swimmer in the water finishes and when the next swimmer leaves the starting blocks. In a relay event, one swimmer must finish before the next swimmer leaves the starting blocks. How does CTS measure this time? One time is recorded by the touch pad as the swimmer in the water touches it (finishes). The second time is from the Relay Judging Platform (RJP) or the A button (remember that the A button is used for relay judging during splits and is used as a backup time at the finish). The Sys5 and Sys6 can measure this time difference. |
